A.M. Best reaffirmed North Star’s financial strength rating of A+ Superior with a stable outlook. This rating is an indication of soundness, permanency, and financial stability from the most highly respected and impartial insurance reporting organization in the nation. Only about 10% of all U.S. property-casualty insurance companies currently receive a rating of A+ or better. North Star has held an A+ Superior rating since December 2007.
