The successful candidate will work closely with management on the handling of complex Property and Liability claims. Duties will include investigating claims, handling appraisals, and conducting examinations under oath. Duties may also include physically demanding activities and extensive travel.
Applicants must be capable of following direction and assisting other staff members. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and be able to think and work on their own. This person must possess excellent analytical, communication, organization, documentation, and mathematical skills. This person must be able to interpret policy language and apply the fact of the investigation to the claim handling process. Must have strong knowledge, or a willingness to learn, applicable laws, regulations, civil litigation and legal procedures. As a representative of the company, this position requires a person to appear and conduct them self professionally while maintaining rapport with policyholders and agency partners.
Preference for this position will be given to those with a good understanding of all phases of multi-line claims handling.
