HR Assistant – Human Resources

North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for an individual to perform HR generalist and recruitment duties pertaining to our full-time entry level positions, internships and temporary, part-time roles. Conducting interviews, working with high schools/technical colleges/universities, coordinating schedules and the ability to work with a variety of departments to fulfill their staffing needs is the foundation of this new role.

Individuals that are strong public speakers, are natural networkers, have a high level of organizational skills, event coordination experience and can find people first solutions are encouraged to apply. This role will be a mix of administrative and direct people focused work so strong verbal and written communication will be essential. Some regional travel expected.

Bachelor’s or associates degree in Human Resources or a related field along with prior recruitment and interviewing experience preferred.  The ability to maintain and model a high level of confidentiality required.
