Accounting Technician

This position requires basic accounting skills as it involves correctly applying payments made by insureds to their balance due, balancing of daily bank deposits, making daily bank deposits, and sorting of canceled checks returned by the bank. This position requires the ability to comprehend written/oral communications from agents and insureds, analyze situations and clearly communicate back to them. Technical skills such as calculator, CRT, Personal Computer and filing are all very necessary in this position. A person hired for this position must be able to handle stressful situations due to deadlines set for balancing and making daily deposits.
