This position involves assisting with underwriting functions including review of new business applications and coverage change requests. Determining acceptability of risks and communication with the agent would also be involved. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet department and company goals.
North Star is looking for someone that has good human relation skills, is tactful, diplomatic, and has good decision-making skills. All applicants must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent, insurance-related experience.
