Assistant Claims Representative (Auto Claims)

This in-office position involves the handling of new or reopened claims and working towards prompt, fair and economical resolutions. The representative must be able to confirm coverage, set reserves, send out necessary forms, and assign adjusters. North Star is looking for individuals who have the ability to analyze liability and contract issues, evaluate injury and/or property damage, and conclude claims through negotiations. Written and oral communication skills are essential with the position, along with basic mathematical skills, proficiency with a personal computer, good organizational skills, and self-motivation.

All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or have equivalent, insurance-related experience.
